SpoutSense

What's really in your glass?

SpoutSense is the smoke detector for your drinking water. It screws onto your faucet and checks your water every day for lead, nitrates, and more.

Your utility tests water at the plant. SpoutSense tests it at your tap.

Lead, found at the source

A daily morning test checks for lead and tells you whether it's coming from your faucet or your service line. One is a simple fix. The other isn't.

Every day, not once a year

Water changes with the seasons, your pipes, and treatment at the plant. A one-time test catches one day. SpoutSense catches the days that matter.

Nothing to mail, nothing to mix

No strips, no sample bottles, no waiting on a lab. Just readings on your phone.

Catches drips, too

Get an alert when your faucet starts dripping or a tap is left running.

Set up in about a minute

  1. Unscrew your aerator

That's the small cap on the tip of your faucet. It twists off by hand.

  2. Screw on SpoutSense

No tools or plumber needed. Adapters for common faucet sizes are included.

  3. Use your faucet as usual

Readings go straight to the SpoutSense app on your phone.

  • Private well owners, whose water no utility tests

  • Families with babies and young kids, who are most sensitive to lead and nitrates
